Kawasaki Z900 (A4) 1976
The particular example we have for sale has been recommissioned and partly rebuilt. Originally supplied in the US, this bike did not need a complete restoration as it was already a good example with just 26,363 miles showing. This is a very useable classic which still looks fantastic. New exhausts and a fresh paintwork have been added to complete the work done.
We believe in sensible pricing which is why we are asking for something realistic. We’d rather have someone enjoying it than wait while the value goes up. It is now kept in our secure, heated and humidity controlled storage facility so viewing is by appointment only.
Looking Back
Introduced in 1976, the Z900 followed in the footsteps of the legendary Z1. Although power had been reduced slightly with the fitting of slightly smaller carburettors, the Z900 was felt by many to be a better bike to ride and still a fast bike for the day.
Overall, the bike retained the same look as the Z1 and is still referred to as a Z1 by many. Colours were diamond brown or the more popular diamond dark green. These bikes are so well known that little more needs to be said.
