For sale is my absolutely stunning 2000 Triumph Thunderbird 900. This is a real collectors item and I think anyone would find it incredibly difficult and extremely lucky to find a Thunderbird like this anymore.
I have decided to put this beauty up for sale as I have now entered the realms of the electric motorcycle. As a consequence I’ve barely done a hundred miles on the T’Bird since I’ve had it, so it’s a bit wasted on me and really needs to be ridden regularly and shown off.
This is truly an immaculate bike as the photos will show, although they don’t do it full justice.
Amazingly this has done under 4000 miles since first registered! For that reason everything on the bike is in superb condition, the paint, chrome and even the lacquer on the engine cases behind the exhaust, which is nearly always chipped or corroded.
I recently fitted a very rare, and eye wateringly expensive, passenger backrest. It has also been fitted with brand new Bridgstone BT46 tyres as the old and original ones were rock hard. The engine covers are the lovely chrome versions as are the wheel rims.
It has a couple of aftermarket chrome goodies – the radiator covers and chain guard.
The standard road silencers are in top condition.
The carbs were recently stripped, cleaned and replaced with new jets, including extended pilot jets for easier adjustment.
MOT’d until May 2022.
