1967 race styled 50cc Itom, extensive modifications bring this bike to its present condition. Engine rebuilt by ex 50cc racer to include:- re bore plus .025,new Yamaha piston and rings, all new bearings and seals, ignition modified using cam and points system with 12v coil and battery. New rear shock absorbers, swing arm bushes, alloy fuel tank, final drive chain. Race style expansion chamber fitted and alloy wheels.
The bike has an old style green log book as well as a current V5 document.
In my opinion the bike is worthy of show status and could possibly be used for parades etc. However if it were to be used for competition further improvements would be required..
NOTE the engine work was carried out in August 2013 and was running well at that time, but it has not been started since and now requires some tlc to get it fired up!!
