This balance-bike is the perfect tool for the development and improvement of young children’s sense of balance. Most of the kids who are using balance-bikes will have the ability to ride the bike with pedals almost immediately, without the need of training wheels or other helping support.
I made the first bike more then three years ago as a birthday gift for my daughter. The model of my old-timer style bicycle was inspired by one of my veteran collection’s motorcycles. One might say that is a mini-replica of a 1940 German motorcycle.
The prototype is still in daily use, and in the past years several other bikes had left my workshop for the joy of many children. Some people even use it as decoration in their workshop or garage. Evidently I enhance continuously the beauty of it by working permanently on improvements.
The bike is built of parts made manually in every detail. I reach the desired length and shape of the frame with a uniquely developed and experimented bending technology. Every detail is planned and executed by my own hand. Apart the wheels, every element is uniquely formed.
