The Ariel Square Four was continuously developed during its production run from the early ’30s until the Mk 2, which ceased production in 1959.
This 1957 example is in very good condition having been restored in the early 2000nds. In my ownership since late 2009, the speedo has been recently restored along with the engine which was completely rebuilt by the Ariel specialists, Draganfly of Bungay in 2015. Extensive photos of work done included in sale, along with a schedule of work carried out. Some electrical work was also done with accurate setting up of the sidecar and rear suspension. The motorbike runs beautifully and rides very well with very effective brakes.
The Mk 2 addressed the problems of overheating by allowing air to flow to the rear cylinders.
This is a well sorted bike, with a valuable registration .
