1965 BSA B40F
I have owned this little Beezer 350 single for 4 years now, and during my ownership the work I have had carried out includes, Top end rebuild, Rewired,12 volt conversion, electronic ignition,New Amal Concentric carburettor,New alternator, both brake drums skimmed,It also has a good speedo that works properly, and gives an accurate indication of speed!.
The bike has just been serviced at a local classic bike dealer, as it has been each year I have owned it, it has 12 months MOT.
I believe this bike was originally a home office vehicle, as there are still signs of olive green paint on the frame. The bike has the odd bits of chipped paint, and bits of rust on the mudguards etc, the pictures make it look better than it is, I would say it is in oily rag condition, but it is a great little runner, and I used it as my ride to work every day 2 years ago.
It is a good starter, usually starts 3rd kick, but the more often you use these bikes, the better they are, it will run around the back roads all day at 45mph, with the odd blip up to 60mph or more should the need arise.
Please bear in mind it is 52 years old, and these bikes need continual maintenance, if you can’t twirl the odd spanner, or you don’t know someone who can, then this bike is probably not for you.
Any questions, 07714 230810 ask for Bill.
Realistically priced at £2400, got too many bikes, reducing collection.
