This is my very tidy classic Trophy 250. I recently fitted new fork tubes/seal holders/seals/grips/gaiters, and repainted the legs and headlamp ears. The rest of the bike is good/fair all round, with some hand brushing in places frame/panels. Chrome on wheels is fair with some light pitting/rust. Carb has been cleaned and points set, tappets set and oil changed. Mudguards not original but clean, seat and cover good for age.
Engine runs well with the odd leak (what would you expect)?
Electrics all work OK. Front brake has new shoes and require more bedding-in (but they did pass the MOT). Speedo is not original for this model and I don’t know the actual mileage of the bike.
All in, ideal bike for starter into Brit Bikes, at affordable price. Has been laid-up for the winter, requires re-commissioning. I do have the points cover missing in the pics.
